How the lesson program started ...

In the Fall of 2015 Wally Conover, my longtime instructor, mentor and friend offered me the opportunity to lease his facility and create an instruction program of my own. During the first year we focused on creating a quality riding program. Each student receives undivided, individual attention. Our ring is a very safe and nuturing place. Goals are set fo reach student and we work together in a responsible way to reach those goals.

We celebrate success! Our facility runs in a  very organized and timely manner. Great care is given to details regarding safety of both rider and horse.

In our first year we held several equine education workshops on topics like equine first aid, grooming, equine massage to namea few. We ran sessions to prepare riders to show. We offered a summer program. We even held our own in-house horse show. In other words - we were very busy!

In year two many new students were added to our program, as well as the addition of a new horse, Tica. We also joined the IEA program and went to regionals the first two years. IEA offers students in grades six thru twelve the an opportunity to copete in an intercollegiate style. This year, 2020, we'll take a gap year from that program due to COVID implications. Recently we relocated to Victory Stables in Colts Neck, NJ. This Farm offers additional opportunity for expansion of the program. As we continue to grow we would love to invite riders of all ages and levels to call us and come out for a personal tour of the farm, as well as to discuss your riding goals and dreams!

About the Owner, Caitlynn Tobin...

From the time I was little, I knew I wanted to work in the equine industry. My varied experiences started from the time I was eight years old, when I first learned to ride. With time, I began volunteering aroundthe barn, and worked my way up to running equine summer camps, grooming for professionals, and eventually managing at larger barns in Colts Neck and Howell.

I have been working around and riding horses for 22 years. I enjoy teaching any level of student, from someone getting on a horse for the first time, to polished horse show competitors.  I aim to teach each rider in a safe and positive manner. I have been successful in the show ring, and hold an advanced instructor certificate.

I look forward to helping each student achieve their goals, and encourage those interested in riding to come grow with the farm!
